Glassine is a highly compressed special paper, which is now rediscovered due to the new Packaging regulations as an environmental-friendly alternative to plastic products. Glassine envelopes are made out of pure pine wood cellulose which is 100% recyclable. The glassine is transparent, anti-static, chlorine and acid free and does not contain chemical softeners. The Envelopes have a relatively good strength and won‘t tear apart so quickly - even after reusing them more often.
